Both lovable and frustrating

The views were incredible! from the cozy patio we enjoyed our morning coffee while our pet was treated with a welcome pack.

Navigating access roads was nerve-wracking. parking was limited, making our arrival a bit stressful.

Everything about my stay was fantastic! The staff welcomed us warmly and even gave a special treat for my dog. The food was great, especially the breakfast and dinner. I loved my classic room with its charming decor and the amazing jacuzzi to relax in after a long day. The views were amazing! 🏞️

Although navigating the narrow streets to reach the hotel was a challenge, the unique rustic charm of the Classic Double Room added ambiance to the stay. The dinner was good, but service could definitely improve for a smoother experience. Still, the morning views from the restaurant were a true highlight.

We explored the nearby Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, enjoying great hikes and beautiful scenery. The breakfast was a standout, with tasty options that energized our family for the day. We appreciated our clean and cozy family room, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome.

The location is excellent, offering stunning views and easy access to the hilltop village. My room was comfortable, although it could have benefited from a better arrangement of amenities. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing due to slow service and issues with food quality. The breakfast, however, was a highlight, featuring a great variety of delicious options.

The breakfast was excellent, featuring creamy, fluffy eggs and delicious watermelon yogurt. I particularly loved the beautiful mountain view from the terrace seating areas, which added a serene backdrop to my stay. The shared lounge with the log fire was perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the nearby castle.

staying at pousada de marvao was delightful. the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the village. the breakfast was amazing with a breathtaking view. my classic room was spacious and cozy with delta coffee. i also loved the seating areas with a log fire, perfect for reading and relaxing. the huge free parking area just outside the village was a plus.
